Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa wants to bolster his attacking option for the upcoming Premier League season. According to the Mirror, the Yorkshire team have identified Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard as their top priority.

If their bid for the French player fails, they’ll look towards signing Divock Origi on a permanent deal while getting Rhian Brewster on a loan as well.

Also according to them, Origi is open to a move away from Anfield in order to secure regular first-team football.

Knowing that they face a battle from other clubs trying to get Edouard, a transfer for Origi could be more likely, especially since the Belgian wants to stay in the Premier League.

Alongside Leeds, the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton, and Fulham have all been linked with a loan move for Rhian Brewster.

Seeing as the financial implications caused by the coronavirus pandemic, it’s unlikely for Liverpool to give up both players at once.

Should they leave the club?

With Origi’s receding form in the past seasons, if a good-enough bid is made then Klopp might accept not only for the financial side of things, but also because it would give Rhian Brewster more playing time if he were to stay at the club.

Liverpool’s number 27 saw himself appearing on 42 different occasions in all competitions for the team, but has failed to achieve a regular starting spot while Brewster is set to leave the Reds on a loan after impressing on Swansea last season.

The ball currently resides on Liverpool’s court, as they have the power to decide which of them stays or goes.

The next few days of training and pre-season are surely going to be crucial for Jurgen Klopp’s decision.
