Liverpool finally have their win in 2021.

The eight-hour goalless run is over.

Four Premier League games without a win, forgotten.

It was almost like the Reds of old, Sadio Mane to Roberto Firmino… Goal.

Deemed a ‘Performance of a Champion’ by the Reds and it sure was.

A goal either side of half-time from Firmino and Trent Alexander-Arnold put the Reds in a somewhat promising position.

However, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg offered the hosts a glimmer of hope with a outstanding volley.

VAR will be in the headlines once again as Heung-min Son’s strike was chalked off.

Mohamed Salah had his goal snatched off him after the officials at Stockley Park advised Martin Atkinson to view the monitor who deemed there was a handball in the build up.

Mane made no mistake shortly after the hour mark as he fired in the third and Liverpool into fourth place.
