Even after Mohamed Salah’s public contract talks, Liverpool are still set to put Virgil van Dijk’s contract renewal ahead of the Egyptian’s.
It is no secret that Mohamed Salah is unhappy with is current contract. The 28 year-old has took to the press to discuss how things are “in the club’s hands.

“I don’t know. If you ask me, I say I want to stay here as long as I can, but as I’ve said before, it’s in the club’s hands.”

The Egyptian winger currently leads the Premier League in goals scored this season with 13.
Salah’s Liverpool Career
Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has helped propel the Reds to new heights. In just three and a half seasons on Merseyside, the Egyptian has notched 111 goals in 177 appearances.
Salah has also helped Liverpool win the Champions League, the Premier League, FIFA Clup World Cup, and has taken home a host of individual awards.
Still, as reported by Dean Jones of Eurosport, Liverpool are set to see through Virgil van Dijk’s contract renewal before Salah.
Although Salah’s recent comments may put the Anfield faithful on edge, they should not worry.
In his most recent interview, Salah went on to say,
“I will always give 100 per cent to the last minute I am in this club and I want to win as many trophies as I can. And I want to give 100 per cent to the people, who show me love all the time.
