Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Ben Davies from Championship side Preston North End on a long-term deal.
He signs for the Premier League Champions for £1.6million.
Liverpool pay £500,000 up front with the rest being add-ons, there is a 20% sell on clause included too.
Reds youngster Sepp van den Berg will go the other way and see out the rest of the season on loan at Deepdale.
After all the medical checks returned no doubts for the Reds, he is in contention for Manchester City on Sunday.
