Liverpool & Everton Injuries

Frequent starting Everton centre-half, Yerry Mina, is out for today’s derby after sustaining an injury on Wednesday night. After a midweek press-conference, Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti was confident that Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be able to start.

However, that was not the case. Liverpool supporters should expect him to make an appearance at some point in today’s match.

The Reds have their fair share of injuries as well. Missing today’s match are; Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Fabinho, James Milner, and Caoimhin Kelleher.

The Anfield faithful had a midweek scare after Alisson Becker did not feature in training photos released by the club. This prompted many rumours that Spanish keeper Adrian was set to start in place of Alisson.

Thankfully, that turned out to be false as Alisson is starting today. Liverpool v Everton kicks off in less than 30 minutes, make sure you are following LFC Transfer Room on Twitter for all updates.
