Just days after Liverpool announced the signing of Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas reports from Greece claim that the Club are interested in signing 16-year-old phenom Marios Tzavidas.
Tzavidas is highly regarded in Greece and has been lighting up the U-17 scene. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, he was all but set to sign his first professional deal with the club. However, the financial windfall due to the pandemic put those plans to the side.
According to Novasports TV and Novasports journalist Nikos Tzouannis, Tzavidas is one of the most talented players of his generation.
Alongside Liverpool; Juventus, Atletico Madrid, PSV Eindhoven and a host of other clubs are seriously considering a move for the Panathinaikos youngster.
Sportime Greece journalist Gerasimos Manolidis is reporting that Liverpool’s interest is not immediate and they are just checking on him to arrange a move for the future.
Whether the Club makes a move for the young Greek is yet to be seen, but it seems that he is one to watch for the future. Let us know what you think about Liverpool going Greek and reply below!
